Treasurer & Membership
After 17 years of serving Trønderlag of America as Membership Chairman, Treasurer and Webmaster, Jon Satrum is stepping down from those responsibilities. We need new individuals to perform them. We need someone to fill the Membership/Treasurer role and need your help. We have learned that the Membership and Treasurer responsibilities are most efficient if both are done by one person, taking less time than if two people had to coordinate. Basically, the Treasurer/Membership person receives payments (mainly dues), records and deposits them, and updates our membership master file. Everything is done online and can be done from almost anywhere.

Position Description
Treasurer & Membership
Treasurer functions:
- Receives and deposits membership payments, donations and other incoming financial amounts.
- Records deposits of financial receipts in an on-line Google document.
- Records all lag financial transactions in a tracking system of their choosing.
- Produce meaningful financial reports to the Board four times each year (Created from the tracking system the Treasurer selects).
- Writes check to pay Trønderlag of America membership fees in other organizations, annual group insurance, vouchers for Board expenses (typically 12 checks per year).
Membership functions:
- Maintains Trønderlag of America's membership master file recorded in a Google Doc file.
- Promotes recruiting of new members/retaining of existing members.
