Mark your calendar to join us
at the 2010 Tre Lag Stevne which will be held in Stevens Point, Wisconsin
August 4-7, 2010. The stevne will include
genealogy labs and research assistance with all the resources of our lags:
books, films, maps, family histories. We will also have seminars on
cultural and historical Norwegian-American topics, traditional banquet . . . along with
many other enjoyable activities!
The stevne is open to the
public, with a registration fee. Walk-in registrations will be accepted if space is available.
Advance registrations are required for tours, banquet and luncheon.
Participants need to make hotel reservations separately.
Further information will be
posted here when it is available. Final information and registration
forms will be sent to
members in the June 2010 Trønderlag Nyheter Brev newsletter.

Hotel Information -
Ramada Hotel, Stevens Point, WI. Please call the hotel directly and make your reservations
as soon as possible 1-715-341-1340. Tell them you are with the
Tre Lag Stevne
to get the special rate of $84/night for a standard room (double or king)
or $99 for a poolside room. If you need the shortest walking
distance to the stevne events, please request a room in block 170
through 384. The hotel includes
an exercise room, indoor pool, whirlpool, complimentary hot breakfast, free high speed Internet
and Cable TV. There is also an onsite restaurant, The Tilted Kilt.
Note: You cannot register online for this event at the hotel.
