Flere Lag Stevne
Several ("flere") bygdelags convene for a convention ("stevne") every year in early August.
This stevne features tours, genealogy research, cultural programs, entertainment, banquet, lag membership meetings and more!

The Flere Lag Stevne
An annual meeting of several groups of Norwegian-Americans. Celebrating our shared Norwegian ancestry & culture.
Many years ago each lag held their own stevne, then realized they could share in overall costs, invite a broader range of speakers, attract quality vendors, etc. For a number of years, it was a meeting of three lags ("tre lag stevne") which has now grown to five lags and is known as the "flere lag stevne" as a result. We share in group tours, genealogy research, banquets, group photographs and much more.

ROOM RESERVATIONS:
DoubleTree prefers that our members book online rather than calling the hotel directly. Apparently, if people call the hotel directly to book they'll be automatically forwarded to the national reservation line which is not always 100% reliable at finding and confirming special blocked rates. So there are less likely to be issues if rooms are booked through the online portal designed for us.

Dates available are for the nights of Mon Sep 14, Tue Sep 15, Wed Sep 16, and Thu Sep 17 (check-out on Fri Sep 18)
Please Note that Sep 14 was included in the mix specifically for those who arrive the day prior to the Stevne.
Most attendees will probably want to book 3 nights: Sep 15, Sep 16, and Sep 17 (checkout on the 18th)
