Will you become a member?

Membership in Trønderlag of American is open to anyone with an interest in the history and culture of the Trøndelag region of Norway, especially descendants of Trønder emigrants. We currently have hundreds of members in 36 states plus Canada and Norway.

A single membership for as little as $10/year (U.S. 3 year membership) covers you and your spouse/partner. Get involved and have your kids learn about your Norwegian heritage as well.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Anyone can be a member of Trønderlag of America.

DUES

Dues include a spouse/partner at no additional charge, our newsletter, and research assistance. New members receive a welcome letter and all newsletters published so far that year. Members joining fairly late in a year are given the rest of the year free. All memberships expire on December 31.

APPLYING LATER IN THE YEAR?
(Don't worry about it - we're very forgiving and just make your expiration December 31, of the next year, or the year appropriate for your membership selection). We're just glad you are joining Trønderlag of America! - WELCOME!

CANADA AND NORWAY

Canada Yearly membership $13/year (U.S. funds).

Norway Yearly membership $15/year (U.S. funds).

LIFE MEMBERSHIP.

Life memberships are $200 for any member.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION / RENEWAL: To apply for membership or to renew your membership, please print a membership application form, complete it and mail it with a check for your dues to:

CREDIT CARDS (via PayPal): If you would like to pay your membership using a credit card, please follow the instructions on the membership form. Do not send us your credit card number. We will invoice you using PayPal and you can pay using PayPal even though you do not have a PayPal account. PayPal has a feature where anyone can pay a PayPal invoice with a credit card. This system also automatically allows for foreign currency conversion.

SUBMIT THROUGH E-MAIL

Some people print and complete the form, scan an image of the form, and attach it to an e-mail requesting a Paypal invoice. That way we have all the information we need to  complete your membership record in our system.

We are still working on a way to make the PayPal application easier to do on line, but for now, please use the methods above.
